Greg and Julie Traxson met while students at Kansas State University. Greg, a History major, and Julie in Animal Science. Greg who grew up near Angola spent 34 years teaching History in public school classrooms before retiring in the spring of 2024. Feeling God’s call from “one classroom to another” he was ordained in October to begin ministry at WWCC. Julie, who was raised near Norfolk, Nebraska, after raising their children, then went to work for the Wildcat Extension District as the 4H extension agent in Labette County for several years before stepping away to provide care for her mom. She now operates Nonna’s Daycare out of the home (keeping just enough open spaces for the grandkids). Greg and Julie have 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 2 more to arrive this year.
